Why did she keep shying away?
Last night I went out on a date with a mature (late 20s) yet beautiful girl. This date was special because it was after I decided to crawl out of my hole and try out many tips I garnered from websites like this one.
We had agreed on the place and time. I arrived first, she arrived thirty minutes later, although she called stating she’d be late because of traffic. When she arrived, I gave her a soft hug, which accepted. She apologized for coming late, I accepted. During the course of the date, I made physical contact; first brushing my arms against hers, and then holding her hand.
She had absolutely no problem with the former, but was initially hesitant with the latter. While seated on a park bench I would extend my arm on top of the backrest. I noticed then that she would avoid leaning completely against the backrest. Towards the end of the date, when walking towards the park exit, I extended my arm around her waist. She immediately, and gently took the hand away from her waist and held it against the small of her back until we went away separate ways.
What should I make of these actions?
